Overview
Galeri 77 is hosting a very special exhibition titled “Bloom” between June 2nd and August 28th, featuring works by 16 artists they represent—both local and international. The exhibition spans a wide range of styles, from expressionism to surrealism, and from neo-pop art to experimental, abstract, and minimalist works. A preview of the exhibition was presented in early May at the CI Bloom Fair, where Turkey’s leading contemporary art galleries came together. Now, “Bloom” is open to visitors at Galeri 77’s venue in Karaköy.
After a long winter, we welcome back the spring days where once again nature is green, revitalized and fills us all with joy. With the exhibition “Bloom”, inspired by this renewal of nature, Galeri 77 brings together exciting works of their artists Narek Arzumanyan, Gayane Avetissian, Roman Babakhanian, Sedat Girgin, Armen Hakobjanyan, Vav Hakobyan, Roman Kakoyan, Mesut Karakış, David Martirosyan, Harut Mnatsakanyan, Ani Qananyan, Kirkor Sahakoğlu, Tigran Sahakyan, Arthur Tonakanyan, Halil Sercan Tunalı and Arman Vahanyan. Developed with different styles and various techniques, this vibrant selection will be exhibited for all art lovers to come and admire throughout all summer.
In addition to the names that followers of the gallery will remember from previous exhibitions, this exclusive selection which features pieces by young and emerging artists whose works were exhibited for the first time in Turkey this year attracted a great deal of attention from the visitors of CI Bloom where it was previewed. The exhibition, which was moved to the gallery space with minor changes after the event, aims to provide a different and enjoyable experience to art enthusiasts who could not find the opportunity to visit the fair or who wish to take their time enjoying the works in the exhibition again.
