Art Show 2026: Galeri Buluşması 2

Conceived as a dynamic platform engaging with the city of Istanbul, Art Show: Meeting of
Galleries 2026 brings the art world together once again between February 12–15 under
the main sponsorship of Yapı Kredi Private Banking. Organized under the umbrella of the
International Art Galleries Association (USGD), a forward-thinking initiative shaping the
transformation of contemporary art, and planned to take place at 2Plan Terminal – Etiler,
the event aims to foster solidarity over competition, bringing the art world together
within a transparent, accessible, and non-hierarchical structure.

Following its inaugural edition in 2024, the second edition of Art Show will open with a special preview on Thursday, February 12, 2026, and will welcome art lovers from February 13–15, 2026. By bringing together galleries that aim to represent the Turkish art market on an
international scale, the event seeks to establish a strong and sustainable cultural platform.

Hosting the event for the first time, 2Plan Terminal – Etiler provides a venue spanning
approximately 3,500 square meters across two floors. Free and open to the public, the
exhibition will feature solo and duo presentations curated independently by each
participating gallery. In addition, the event is set to host a comprehensive talks program,
welcoming nationally and internationally recognized art professionals and key figures from
the art world.

For this solo presentation at Art Show 2026 an event organized by galleries to spotlight
curated selections; Galeri 77 exhibits a focused selection of Hakobyan’s recent works. The

display includes large-scale oil and acrylic paintings on canvas alongside smaller mixed-
media works on paper (pencil, colored pencil, acrylic, and ink). These works continue his

exploration of dynamic, ever-evolving compositions that surprise even the artist himself.

Hakobyan’s art invites viewers into a realm of aesthetic diversity and creative envisioning,
where painting becomes an endless quest. This presentation highlights his ongoing evolution and the power of art to transcend representation. Galeri 77 welcomes visitors to experience these vibrant, transformative pieces firsthand.
